Today's dyejinks

Today was sunny and 70f so I set up my dyepots. I got quite a bit of spinning done too - I will eventually finish the black wool/silk blend and be able to move on to some of these:

and OMGYELLOW are from Sunday's efforts, the others are fromtoday. The brown is really harvest gold in person, and the red ismore of a really deep orange. Blue and green are what they seem tobe. I have 2oz each color, the wool is Romney top, and I'm thinkingloud-a$$ sock yarn.

Thanks y'all. I don't get much credit - the colors come out of the bottles, for the most part, I just do a little tweaking :D

I made more of that blinding yellow today, and hot pink. My current plan for color combos is

yellow+purple blue+gold hot pink+yellow green+orange

If anyone has suggestions for alternate combinations let's hear about it :D

Hot pink & orange comes to mind immediately! I also like green and blue together.

Yellow and purple were my college colors so I cannot in good conscious recommend that one. But perhaps that is just because I have seen enough of it to last a couple of lifetimes...

Those colours are magnificent, Wooley. Do you think the blue and purple would go together, or would they be too dark? I think that would be a very rich combination. The other I thought of would be the gold and orange as they would look so warm together - almost autumnal.

I like blue and orange together (and no, I'm not a Mets fan ). In fact, I have a felted tote planned in a dark teal blue and burnt orange. Will likely get some strange looks from people, but that's their problem
