Toe-up for the first time..

Waiting for my slippers to dry, I have started toe-up- socks for the first time! On my way home from holiday, I bought two balls of a soft, but "stong" sockyarn

and started to knit the regular way.BUT one ball was not enough for the sock. Then I thought I should start in "the other end" and knit as long as the yarn lasts ;-)It is interesting for me, I really have to *think*!!LOL!AND....I hope I will get yarn for the ribbing! LOL!AUD ;-)

Good luck, Aud. I really don't like toe-up.

Sorry to reply again, but I am amazed that 50 g was not enough for a sock. What colour did you buy?

It was a rag-sock yarn, two red coloures, and I think I started with a too long ribbing! ;-) Normally I calculate 50g pr sock for ME, and I have knitted with yarn that have given one pair for me + on pair of children's socks wity a 100g ball!!

was an Opal yarn, very thin, the result was nice, and of course, I have given them away!LOL! So now I NEED some pairs for myself!Higs,Aud ;-)
