Cher has come up with a unique idea for your 6x6 square exchange. It will be up to you if you want to do it or not. Her idea is to put a bead in one square for the color of the month it is at the time. If you aren't sure what it is, either ask Cher or myself or do a google search under birthstone.

That is a possibility, Nora. I am working on some kind of heart for February. And a bead in the middle of it would be nice. All I have to do is remember it!

Charity or thrift shops, they have tons of necklaces that sell really cheaply and you'll be saving money whilst giving money to a worthwhile cause, and have enough beads to do whatever you want with...check the beads before you buy though, some don't have proper holes the waxed thread has been sewn through a bead somehow in some of them and you can't get it out..
Since beadwork is my main hobby I get many beads. Friends present me with broken necklaces. They buy them for me from various markets. I tell them before they buy to make sure the beads turn on the threads. If they do not they have been moulded on the thread and are useless to me.
Ebay is another good source for beads. Shirley
