Sounds like an age mix-up at the doctors side....LOL TBC was rampant between the two world wars. After that we got an handle on it in the Western world. I don't think it ever totally disapeared though in the third world countries. Just like we see in Africa right now with AIDS, it is a lack of funds, most of the time in the poorer countries. Makes it hard to catch up with us health wise.

Not everyone, and not on a regular basis. as far as I know. But I do think when you are in a situation where you may come in contact with TB, and maybe, I think AIDS Patiens, or when you come in to Canada from somewhere where there are know cases of TB you do get screened. Off and on there is talk about TBC on the news and in the news papers.

That must be the fox that went out on a chilly night......I do love that song, sorry Lee, I hope he is not getting anymore of your chickens. Are you sure that it is a fox, and not a racoon, rat or a ferret. My brother gave up on having chickens, he lost more than he got eggs.

Is that the song with a refrain like:

He didn't mind the "quack, quack, quack" And the legs all dangling down -o.

Now that would have been a scare. I really don't remember that I was scared at the time. I know that I felt awful. Hope your friend is completely healed. Carol in TN

You know, I don't think she does. BTW, we re-read Sophie's Masterpiece last night. Wonderful little book! She said that she was too tired for a chapter of her latest Lemony Snickett book, so I suggested Sophie. It went over well, as usual. Yes, her birthday is on July 29th.

Acronym. That is an old one, which my mother used to use.

Sophie's Materpiece is a great book, It is so nice, the kids want to have books read over and over. I just bought a book I used to read to all three kids. Bears on hemlock mountain....When I phoned Dennis today, he is now 46, he knew instandly what book I was talking about. Now we can we read it to Skye and Aysia.
