Hi

Just received a call from a lady in my apartment building. She knows a man that lost his wife and didn't know what to do with the yarn. She immediately thought of me because of my charity work so is going to be dropping off some of the yarn tonight to me.

I am very interested to see what I get and she was telling me that there is more and she will pick it up next Tuesday.

Gee it's a good day today for me.

You'll have to let us know what you get, Darlene. I am glad that he thought of you instead of dumping it.

Higs, Kather> Hi

Hi

Now I am looking for some patterns for either knit or crocheted chemo toques as the man that is giving me the yarn lost his wife to cancer so I would like to make some toques for a place where he volunteers.

Hi

Well the lady just stopped by and gave me a bit of yarn with a mesure that there is roughly half a green garbage bag of various yarns coming my yarn.

Tonight I got some cotton/linen yarn and some worsted weight yarn. The cotton/linen yarn is Schachenmayr nomotta micaela so need to figure out what to make with it.

Next week she is hoping to pick up the rest of the yan so will let you now what I get.
