What would system level access to the files prove?
What do you mean by "system-level access" in this case?
I never said she did. I said I was open to listening if she had one. She doesn't owe me squat.
I'm acting on behalf of a good friend of mine, the designer of the Cobweb Shawl. You're right, I haven't been directly injured; however, I believe that having such theft in the community injures us all at some point.
Wooly, I agree with you entirely - I cannot and will not join the dispute as it is none of my business - however nastiness on this wonderful site is partly my business and I am beginning to wonder today if there is something in the water in the northern hemisphere that is bringing out the worst in some people !!*** God Bless Gwen ( and I too will go to bed !)
I, for one, am happy to see this side of Noreen shown to the group. Some people seem to have a hard time accepting she is not the person they thought she was. I used to be a frequent poster to this group, but left because of her. Open your eyes, people.
Most digital cameras now record identifying information along with the image. If the images you found elsewhere were copied from your site, that information would probably have been preserved.
Not a lawyer, but as I understand it, while intellectual property law is complicated, especially when you're talking about more than one country, in the US it's the expression that's copyright, not the concept. There are other ways to protect designs -- trademarks and design patents -- but for those you have to register.
No, it's not the water but the full moon that's gets some people in a tizzy :-)
Yeah, that's what I attributed it all to. :) The beautiful big full moon last night, really bright, made me wish I had a camera with a really long telescopic lens.
Hi Karen,
You still have tonight to see the full moon. It was bright here also, but I doubt if I'll be able to see it through the rain clouds tonight.
Hugs,
Nora
That's one possibility. It's also possible that she's intimidated by a false accusation. At this point there's no way to tell.
Noreen intimidated by FALSE accusations? I think not.
Where is Noreen these days? That would be a way to tell.

She wouldn't be the first. The teenagers who confessed to mugging the Central Park jogger weren't guilty, after all. That's one of the problems with this sort of thing.
I don't post very often but I do read the board and also follow the blogs and other links. Below is the link to Noreen's blog as of August 16,05.
Great. We even have to borrow the gas money. Back whenever. . . The other thing is, the house may have finally sold. There will be absolutely no profit, and I 'think' we're going 'on-the-road'

My name is my real name. I can't adequately explain your feelings of disease, though.

I'm not new. I've been reading, and occasionally posting to, this board for the whole 10 years I've been online. And my website and name have been mentioned several times which has an info page with my full name on it.

I don't think that it is fair to continue this discussion without BOTH parties involved. We have heard one side and not the other, and I have trouble making a judgment on anyone until ALL the evidence is disclosed. I do have a problem thinking that Noreen would do what she is accused of, and I also find it difficult to believe that Sarah would wildly accuse someone. Could we please put this convo on hold and allow Noreen time to get back to us?
