Thank you, Norma... now I can tell my son that I'm not alone in the world. I have (somewhere) a cloth knitting bag on a wooden stand that you can fold for carrying, that my mom bought me years ago when I first started knitting and I used it a few months ago. Do you think I can find it?!? Noooooo, it's up and walked off somewhere! I honestly don't know if I had an unfinished project in it or not, but considering that I had been using it, it's very likely that there is one in it.
Hmmmm... time to de-clutter a bit more, when Matthew comes home. Oh, he's staying at his best friend's place for a few days until my shoulder and wrist are doing better. Ummm, I just realized that it sounds like he's deserting me in my time of need, but he isn't really. Since we only have one vehicle and I need it to get around to the doctor and to the store, and he works 30 miles away... the driving was putting my arm through torture, so he is staying at his friend's place (in the city where he works) and taking the bus to work. This way I don't have to drive that distance unless I absolutely *have* to go to our doctor.
Come hell or high water though, I will be picking him up on Friday for sure. That way he'll be home on the weekend to do a few things around the house. Oh yeah, he called me tonight to see how I was doing and told me that he just found out today that he will be starting training for "customer care" next Monday... 8 AM to 4:30 PM. He's not crazy about the shift (possibly just for training), but it's a much better start time than he thought he was getting (6 AM)... that would have meant that he'd have to get up at 4 AM to get ready to head out by 5:15 AM at the latest. EEEWW!!! Sure glad that didn't happen.
Peace! Gemini
