783 piece Scrappy Tumbler!

Even though I was preparing Christmas breakfast and dinner for 12 persons I still was able to get the quilt top, batting and backing rolled onto my 95 inch frame. Only have to roll it all to the back roller and I will be ready to start my hand quilting .... need to get a few more chores done to get the rest of the Christmas tree and decorations stored. I had 10 guests for Waffles and poached eggs. Then we opened packages until it was time for me to start with the dinner. Son Eric and Matthew helped the most. I also have a daughter in law who is on top of things and got the tables and silver ware set up. I think the best thing is that it can't possibly be necessary to do this again until near the end of 2009.

You're a wonder! I can't cope with quilting and company at the same time! Hope your holiday was as wonderful as it sounds! I love Tumbler quilts, especially the charm type. Can't wait to see pictures!

Rhoda,

I wish I was able to concentrate on quilting in the midst of the holiday madness. You have my utmost admiration! I haven't even opened my quilting closet for a month. And I really need to get my postage stamps cut for the next swap due on January 15th.
