Mid Atlantic Quilt Festival, Virginia, This Week!

Hello! Mid Atlantic Quilt Festival is scheduled for this week in Hampton, Virginia. It will be in the very nice Hampton Convention Center. If you previously attended the MAQF in Williamsburg, you remember that the Show was spread out in several facilities. I am happy to say that it is now in ONE center. The exhibits, classes, and vendors are all in the same location.

Since I live just 10 miles from the Center, I will be there Thursday and Friday for sure. Saturday and Sunday are still unplanned. Please email or post here if you will be in the Show, and we might have an RCTQ meet and greet. I will wear a really cute embroidered badge that has the RCTQ Logo .... Trip Around the World Quilt pattern on a computer screen. (Hi Gen!)

Have fun at MAQF. I'm so disappointed that we won't be driving down this week. We had planned to but needed to cancel for a number of reasons. Maybe next year...

Ack! That's only 3 1/2 hours from me! I wish I could go, but not a chance with all I have going on here right now! Maybe I'll convince DH to let me go next year! You'll let me know in plenty of time, right?

Danielle: MAQF is the last full weekend of February, every year. Mark the date on the October page of your 2008 calendar, to remind yourself to get order the program for 2009. I don't send personal reminders .... I tend to be in shock in November through March!! (Busy time for me!) But I hope to see you here. PAT in VA/USA

Aw, come on Pat! *grin* I'll mark it in me calendar (as soon as I find it) and see if we can't figure out how to get me there next year! If I weren't buying a house right now, I'd probably have made a way to get there this year!!!
