Quilt Festival Houston Hotel

HI All,

First off, NAYY.

I just arranged hotel accommodations for my quilt bee's Houston trip this year.

I was able to arrange a $55/night rate, 2 queen beds w/continental breakfast at the Best Western Heritage Inn. The hotel was just renovated in January, has a gym, free wi-fi and other amenities, and is conveniently located.

We've stayed at many hotels in the area in previous years. Either they've gotten really pricey or turned out to be dumps. Or both. My group is not one to have 4 to a room - some prefer to room alone - and this rate makes that easily doable. It's a really quick ride into downtown from there. More money for fabric!

For those attendees with cars, who don't need to be staying right next to the convention center, it's a good option.

The Sales Manager (Sheryl) was kind enough to extend the online rate to my group (regular rate was $69) and after some chatting, she decided to open it to quilt show attendees.

This is the same rate as Orbtiz is currently quoting as an internet special. However, unlike on Orbitz you do not have to prepay when you make the reservation. And dealing with the hotel ratherthan Orbitz is always easier when making any changes.

So if would like to book a room, just them call them directly @

713-670-9100 and ask for the $55.00 Quilt Show Rate.

Here's a direct link to the hotel:

Again, NAYY. Just thought it might be useful information for someone out there.

I wish I was going this year - that is a screaming deal & it looks like a great hotel. Keep on her good side - maybe you can be a returning guest every year at the same rate.
