Howdy! Old Times Quilt Shop is have a retirement sale. It will be a Closing Sale if someone does not buy the shop. Old Times QS is in Princeton, Il, which is about 80 miles w/sw of Chicago on IH 80, and just north of Peoria (beautiful drive along rt.29). On the north end of town, it sits on Main Street, just across the street from the train depot; AMTRAC goes thru' there at least twice a day. And, it's just a few blocks from my first home. Princeton is a great little place to visit, lots of old houses & shops to peruse. This shop has been FILLED with fabric, more fabric than any other QS I've seen; some of it goes back several years, is in good condition (no harsh light in the store); these prices include the latest shipments, too. They've been stocking new fabric right up to now. Treasures! Btw, they have been a Lace store for decades; specialized in lace, too. So, if you're in the 'hood, or need an excuse to take a trip out of town, think about Princeton, and Old Times quilts. I've never left empty-handed. Shoot, I'll even tell you where my old house is, so you can go by and.. well, no spit-wads, please, 'cause the people who own it are very nice folks.
