Just got back from vacation in Ocean City, Maryland. While waiting for the rest of the crew to get packed/loaded to leave I saw a broadcast on the local news station about a new quilt shop in Dagsboro, DE. Didn't catch the whole broadcast but enough to find out they were very new and where they were. Told DH I heard something very disappointing for him on the news and explained about the shop. Asked if it was on the way home (which it was) and he said no problem. Only a few minutes off the 'major' highway. Got there before they opened so we had breakfast at the coffee shop across the street first. Serendipity Quilt Shop on Main Street in Dagsboro. Very nice shop, very friendly people. It was quite the happening place to be that morning! Apparently I wasn't the only one who saw the broadcast as there were a few husbands in 'vacation garb' wandering around as well. For being a new shop, seems to have a pretty good selection of fabrics as well as notions. Bought a pattern and some notions. Purchases are given to you in a re-usable tote bag. Prices seemed quite reasonable on everything. They also have a website -
