Re: Sultan is now in kitty heaven

My deepest sympathies for your loss. My Sterling died of the same thing. We too put him to sleep. It was the greatest gift I could give him. No more suffering. You will always have good memories of him. We often speak of the animals that are gone with fond remembrances. The roses are a lovely idea.

It seems that male kitty's often succumb to renal failure. At least we can end their suffering.

{{{hugs}}} Not a good year for kitties, it seems. Lots of us have had to put down our cats. Mine was 13. I still miss her.

I'm so sorry for your loss. After dealing with a similar loss very recently, I understand what you're going through. Big hugs on their way to you.

:-((( Renal failure is one of the most common ways for cats (& dogs) to leave us. I've lost several to it, and helped a whole lot more find the peaceful way out when I was in practice. It's hard on everybody, but you did the right thing for Sultan. Hugs
