I know I haven't been around as much lately, and I am sorry for that! I do love you all and consider you as friends, and of course, now I need a favor.
I just found out my mom has Breast Cancer, and I would love all the prayers we can get.
The good news is it's really really really early, and she has a good prognosis, but she will need treatment...
So, if you have a moment, would you send some good thoughts and prayers?

It always seems that when Jessica (in Seattle) is in need of a prayer request so is Melissa (in Seattle). My favorite cousin, was just diagnosed with colon cancer and it has spread to his liver as well. The tumor is too large to operate right now so they have to shrink it. They're doing chemo and radiation first, then surgery and then back to chemo. He can only drink foods... which we can all imagine sucks.
He is an amazing, generous, loving man. Husband and father to 3 and beloved school teacher. If you could add my cousin David and his family to your prayers I would much appreciate it. Thank you.

Tell him to be very positive and to hang in there. My sister was diagnosed with colon cancer 14 years ago. It had also spread to several other places. She did the chemo, radiation & surgery. They gave her 5 years....and she's still going strong. Sandy
