My son, daughter-in-law and grandkids where here from California. Long story, but I have never met my DIL of grandkids. My son was in the Marines and meet a girl that had a daughter (she is now 3) and was married almost 2 years ago in Vegas (in a drive thru wedding, LOL) anyway, they had a son Christmas eve of last year. We flew them out last week for a visit. It was so much fun! My DIL is great and the kids are just the cutiest thing every, I only wish the lived closer so I could see them more. I really miss them.
