UC Coating's headquarters is located a few miles from my home. The last time I was at their office, about two years ago, they were trying to establish outlets throughout Europe. It would be best to contact their office and ask them if they have an outlet near you. You can send them an email by clicking the link below.

Hello Helmut,

Instead of "real Anchorseal", you can use : MOBIL CER-M. It has been told to me by JORN, a "Norwegian woodturner in Luxembourg"

is also wax in water emulsion. It is much cheaper :-)We use it for several years in our local Wood Club for preparing greenwoods. It can be bought at any "MOBIL Oil" supplier. The only problem is its "minimum buy quantity" : you have to buy ahuge can (50 or 200 liters, I can't remember !).But it stands for a long time, and if you have many friends, it iseasy to share the initial price and fill smaller cans (5 liters, forexample) :-)

I hope it helped :-) Bye,

JYS (from FRANCE)

OR - get a good low foaming non-ionic surfactant, a blender, and emulsify some wax into water.

I wouldn't use my wife's equipment, personally, but you may have one who's more understanding.
