need ideas for sliding window treatment

I have a big window in the living room. It has a fixed center pane and then both sides slide open toward the center. I have the previous owner's sheers over them right now just for something, but I want something different that will allow me to open the curtain on the right side (or left) where the window is open, not in the center or not at all like the sheers. the only thing I can think of is a left draw traverse, but I'm really looking for a different idea--maybe 3 roman blinds mounted inside the window? any ideas? Thanks, Lisa

P.S. My new house HAS a sewing room. YEAH!

I have the fixed center window with 24" wide double-hung sash windows one on each side. This is in my living room and in the front bedroom so that both are on the front of the house on either side of the front porch. What I have done is bought plantation blinds at Home Depot - luckily they take stock sizes. This way, I can open the windows on the sides when I want without uncovering the large center window. Not sewn, but they look good and work well.

Trying to think of ideas other than blinds, but had to respond.....Isn't it *GREAT* to have your own room for sewing?? Our new house also has a room that has already been dubbed "Mom's sewing room".

Larisa, who hasn't thought about curtains for the room yet, but who has found the flooring and wall decor....now to rip up carpeting, rip down paneling, bust 2 tiny closets into 1 large one, paint walls, get appropriate furniture.....lol yes, I dream big, and if I'm lucky, I can sometimes come close
