Need ideas

My brother and his daughter are coming to visit next weekend and will be here 5-6 days. Of those days we will be camping 3. I would like to make up a smallish album ahead of time so that before they leave I can have the pictures we take printed and then just put them in said album. Any ideas? The printed photos will be 4x6. I'd like to reduce them but so far haven't had any luck getting them smaller. I could do them smaller by using the "wallet size" but I don't want 4 of each picture, that small. That and it would cost a small fortune to have that several dozen pictures printed at 99 cents each. I won't be printing them at home as time is an issue. I'll be uploading them to Walgreens.com then picking them up about an hour later. I was thinking of doing an 8x8 album, but was wondering if a 10x10 would work better. What do you think? I'd like to put most of the pages together before they arrive then the night before they leave have the pictures printed and put them on the pages to give to them the day they leave.

A few idea's I have. 10x10 album Pages for pictures with: Grandma Grandpa Aunt Kenda Uncle Alan Cousins all the different pets Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Alan & Aunt Kenda have swimming campy type things, making Smores, walking in woods, ect. sleeping in tent, camper room for her to journal

Anyother ideas? TIA for any and all ideas. (I know I've been hiding out lately, (mostly lurking) work has been a killer and DS#1 has a health issue we've got to get through before I will be able to breath again)

I really like the 10X10 size that I do for the ABC albums. They have enough room for 2 4X6 pictures and a few embellishment stickers or strips of paper etc. 8X8 would have just barely enough room for 2 pictures and almost nothing else.

Just my 2 cents, Lynne

What a great idea. I think a 10 x 10 would be perfect, then you wouldn't have to reduce the pictures and could get a couple on each page.

Definatley a 10x10, enhanced pages are part of the fun of the whole scrapbook. Besides, you'll need room to journal your memories... you might even be able to get some of the gatherers to journal something about the trip that was especially special/meaningful or fun in the book.

Thanks for all the ideas everyone!! I have gotten the paper gathered up and some of it cut. I am currently gathering up outdoor themed items. I'll take pictures after it's put together.
