Banana bread to muffins

According to the Better Homes & Gardens New Cookbook (circa 1995), quickbreads can generally baked in different sized pans based on this chart (all sizes in inches):

9x5x3 loaf pan 1 to 1.25 hours 8x4x2 loaf pan 50 to 60 minutes two 7.5x3.5x2 loaves 40 to 45 minutes six 4.5x2.5x1.5 loaves 30 to 35 minutes twelve 2.5" muffins 15 to 20 minutes

I have successfully baked my favorite banana bread into muffins (20 minutes) and gift loaves using this chart. Just remember to toothpick test them and you'll do fine!

Thanks for the info. Saves me some experimenting. I looked in my books but didn't find anything to help with pan size. Guess I need a 'new'(about 1995) cookbook :^}
