I decided to go with the Zojirushi BBCCX20 - it should arrive today. Thanks for all the advice from the newsgroup.
One issue I noticed: the recipes in the Zojirushi manual (which I downloaded to peruse before ordering) give the ingredients by volume, not by weight as the Panasonic manual does. My understanding is that listing ingredients such as flour, which compacts easily, is problematic which is why listing ingredients by weight is preferred.
So, what's the best way to convert volume measurements to weight?
