AD: Happy New Year and New Beads by Lara

Happy New Year everyone.

Well, Christmas is over and that means, for me, moving away from the red and green beads for now. I have a new torch (mini cc if you are wondering) and I have been working on trying out some of my designs I made on my hothead that I liked a lot. Some I can't make to look the same, but my "purple stone" beads look exactly the same. WOO HOO. So this week I have 2 "purple stone" auctions, one focal and one set. I also have a wispy purple set with a heart and some round beads. I love the purple.

Hi Lara, You mean to tell me you've been making all those gorgeous beads on a hothead? Wow!!! And how do you like the Mini CC? I have a minor, which is fine for now, but I've heard that you can get a lot more adjustment out of the CC as well as a larger flame. Congrats on the new torch! I can only imagine what you'll be coming up with now!

Ebay is being flaky right now so I'll have to try looking at your beads later, but I'm sure they're yummy as always! =o)

Yes, all my beads were on my HH up until the last 1 month or so. I have used the minor enough in class that adjusting to it was not a problem. I'm really liking the cc. I have it running on a concentrator, so I think that I could get an even bigger flame if I had tanked O2. I think it is a lateral move between the minor and the mini cc. I can get a nice pinpoint flame with the CC that I could not get with the HH. I didn't really know how cool a pinpoint flame is until I used it. :)
