AD- New beads from the Tillerman on JustBeads and eBay

Phew, if this keeps on, I'm going to lose weight as I won't have any time to lounge around eating decadent chocolates!

Mike's been ultra-busy again in the studio and we've listed ten sets tonight, five each on JB and eBay, plus there are new sets up in the shop.

We're also rolling out something else in the shop, handcast pewter beads by FireDragon Pewter, they're neighbors of ours here in the marina and also have a studio in the same mill. We're their exclusive distributors, they make some mighty fine beads so have a look tomorrow when I get them all listed.

Now, the beads.

I won't natter on about all ten sets but I want to brag about one particular set.

'Inca'

Terracotta and pale turquoise! I had to promise to not keep them for myself, but it was pretty darn tough to take the pics and list them. I was so sad I couldn't even find a way to stretch the peregrinations of the Black Douglas to the New World.

Here's the link for the 'Inca' beads:

Thanks, David!

It always amazes me when Mike brings beads back from the studio and I get to see wht new things he and the glass have done together. I'm a particular fan of ivory glass anyway, I think if I could make beads I'd spend all my time playing with it and seeing what it does with other glass.

They really do look like little cosmoses... cosmii... cosmosseesss?

Congratulations on your new studio!! Please keep reminding us to look at your offerings. I would be happy with Sagan, or any of the sets, but Inca is the one that draws me. I love the color combination and the variations in the beads. I couldn't find the pewter beads last night. Any hints? Peace, Lilyflower snipped-for-privacy@theworld.com

Hiya,

Thanks for the comments on Mike's beads. I almost didn't put the Inca set up for auction, they're really close to being my favourite beads of his. He did manage to get in some torching time this weekend despite a terrible cold, and is working on more in that style and colour combination, with some ivory too.

The Sagan beads, well, they took me by surprise when I saw them too, the wispy effect the ivory glass has on the cobalt really made me think of Carl Sagan, so I figured he could get some beads named after him since he probably already has a star and a planet and a galaxy somewhere.

The pewter beads are in their own category in the online shop at

or in our eBay shop at

I've still got a few beads to get up on the shop and the eBay shop, thanks for asking though.
