Ad-ish? Any interest in buying poly clay, tools and books?

I was just wondering if anyone in the group would be interested in buying a quantity of poly clay, hand made tools and books about poly clay? Hubby left lots of clay, tools he'd made himself and dozens of books. I could list them individually (whew!), but if someone wants to buy in lots, email me and let me know. He also left a lot of rubber stamps - I might be persuaded to part with those. :) I've switched PCs and don't know what address will show up with a reply, email me at vibrantjewels "at" earthlink "dot" net.

I wished you lived in Uk because I have just dropped myself in it to show at our Monday night club to make simple beads in polymer clay. Not only that Chinese knotting. Hugs Shirley

I've had lots of interest so far - I need to do an inventory of sorts and let people know what I have. Just wanted to know if there was any interest before I got into it. Thanks for all of your replies!

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you all. My other PC DIED.... I installed a Thomas the Train game for my grandson and now Windows 98 will not work - keep getting invalid page faults for explorer.exe. Been trying to fix for 3 days - no go. If I can't get it going, will have to get a new PC. Well, I need one badly anyhow, these oldy moldy ones have been limping along for some time now. SHEESH - when it rains, it pours. Have 3 lawsuits pending against me from the estate. Ain't life grand?

Lawsuits against you from the estate! Outrageous! How is that possible? We've got some lawyer types here, and people with all sorts of bits and pieces of experience that might help you.

What's happening?

One is a medical bill we'd already been issued a judgement against us. I've tried to tell them my financial situation but they don't care.

One is for a CC bill that was in both our names. (Capital One: What's in YOUR wallet? If it's Captial one, trust me, it's a VIPER). We had credit guard insurance and they refuse to activate it.

One is threatened by my stepson b/c he hates me.

I don't know if they are against the estate exactly, but concern the estate against me?

I talked to my attorney and she doesn't handle consumer law, and told me to contact legal aid - but I've tried to get their help before and they refused so I don't hold out much hope of that. Any advice would be appreciated.

That sounds rough . . . I have some ideas to help u stay out of court ~ I've been around the block a few times in this arena. You probably wouldn't want legal aid to try to help you anyway . . .

Med bill ~ you might be able to ask 'em for some sort of compromise to pay a lower amt and make small monthly payments. You don't want 'em to hurt your credit as much as they don't want to spend money to chase you (unless it is a big bill).

CC ~ isn't credit guard ins basically a contract that you/they entered into so they should pay if you met the qualifications? I always thought that "CC protection" was a sham . . . again, you may want to see if they are willing to compromise and take some sort of lower payment in lieu of them not getting anything ~ they might go for it and leave you alone.

Stepson ~ can't sue on hate alone so he would need some sort of legal claim/basis against you. How old is he and what is he threatening? I can give you more specific ideas if I know the fact pattern . . .

Hope this helps a 'lil . . . give me some more info and I might be able to help u out more, u can email me directly if u want . . .

Not much you can do with the bills except try to negotiate down or maybe bankruptcy to relieve burden {but also hurt credit} but those laws have changed so not sure if that would help. Bankruptcy would be last resort type thing . . .

Yeah, haters can't sue just to sue so what is all of that about????
