I have been experimenting with a new idea - and here is the result. :) Pendulums are great for divining, and can also be used for decoration. These would make great holiday gifts for the mystic in your family. :)

I also thought "book thong" when I saw it. Wouldn't use it in a treasured book, as the chain might mess with the pages, but I could see it!

Sure - that's a great use - and it would work for smaller books, like paperbacks. :)
hmmmm. Possibly on a ribbon (not organza, although that would work), of substance, to use as a treasured bookmark for like a bible, or for a coffee table book that is on display?
