A few weeks ago I bid on some lamp worked beads by June Crawshaw It was her first ebay auction and I was the only bidder.
When the packet came there was no stamp on and I had to pay to get the beads from the post office. I rang June and explained, she was full of remorse. Then she remembered that she had a certificate of posting and had handed the packet over for the post office to put some stamps on.
Any way she sent me some more beads to make up for the postage I had to pay and later she sent me yet more beads that were samples and mis-shapes. June is an artist and every time she sent beads she sent a card with one of her paintings on. The last was one painted on silk. I loved it so I framed it.
After complaining to the post office I got some stamps sent to me in way of compensation.
Through emails and phone calls I have got to know more about June.
I would like to give her a leg up so to speak so perhaps you would like to have a look at her auctions. She goes under the name of mavisbirdthing I can recommend her as a very nice lady. June is a new friend of mine but I have nothing to do with her business.
If you want to see a necklace that I did with one of her mis-shapes please let me know. Shirley
