OMG, Lori! I am SO in lust with the etched chunky lentil. It is calling my name and I can't shut it up. Is it still available?

Cherry Pickup Sticks and Desert Tab are speaking to me, too. Or is it just the voices in my head?

Hee hee. I just emailed you. I just posted everything and it's all still available!

It might be the voices, but my beads have been known to talk....and hear too.

Why, thank you! Every once in a while you get a set that just stands out and these do it for me too! I don't know if it's the multiple colors of the bases of the bead or just that it's a larger set than usual for me. I'm nervous to list larger sets on eBay though so I don't know what to do with them. Hm.

I knew making them that orange is a color that I've seen people turn their noses up at but I'm tellin' ya', this moretti mango color is surreal. It's not a flat orange...there are bursts of color throughout it. Someday maybe you orange neigh-sayers will see it and see what we mean! Doesn't mean you'd like to wear it but I think you would be surprised at your own reaction to it!

People are loving orange more and more. I've actually bought a shirt in the color, and I used to LOATHE orange.

Thanks Sooz!

I'm digressing with a new subject line here for something that is important to me. I've struggled in the past with wanting to create what people will buy rather than what my heart wanted to do. I stifled my own creativity that way. It's a hard line to walk when we have to make money at what we do, but also want to be creative. I've gotten better at it though...can you tell? :o)

I just want to drop this little note to encourage others out there that might struggle with the same thing. Do what you love and people will feel your heart in it....it will show! The longer you do it, the better (and easier) it gets and you really start to emerge as your own. I've shown stuff and gotten flat out comments that 'I don't like this or that about it.' At one time that would hurt and I'd take it personally. Being in the politically correct culture of the U.S.A. I would have expected to get a, "well, it's not my style but..." Nope. Flat out....Don't Like It! Now I think it's honest and refreshing and don't take it personally.

My point is, if you ever get that...ignore it and just know that it's not about you personally.

If someone says they don't like certain colors you show, but you do, make more. If someone says they don't like a particular style you've made, but you do, make more. If you love it, do it. If you FEEL it, DO IT!

Period.

And it loves you right back. Unfortunately, orange (in anything but a pale coraly tone) makes me look embalmed.

I'm lucky because I'm kind of a topaz-y color to begin with, so orange looks just right on me. :)

A while back my three favourite e-bay terms vintage, opaque, faceted and orange (make that four!) collided and I found the most amazing beads which I snapped up with BIN. Now I have hundreds of them sitting around doing nothing - I have no clue of what to do with them but I just *had* to have them
