I just had to return some mules I bought. They were uglier, in person, than I would have ever dreamed possible... I mean, they were chew-off-your-leg-to-get-away ugly, in a way that was simply not evident from the pic. I almost kept them just to be able to prove it, you know? They looked exactly like those vinyl slippers old men get at Walgreens, except they were leather, and (relatively) expensive.

I'm picking up a table I put on layaway at an antique store. DH is have fits because I'm using it for my lampwork desk. However I did have sheet metal cut to fit the top and added padding.
