AD: New beads up!

I almost went to bed without posting this... naughty me! I put new beads up tonight, and since I've been working especially with silvered ivory and transparents there's a lot of my fancier goodies to look at tonight. :) I updated the gallery to include last week's stuff too, if anyone wants to see.

Next week it's going to be quite a bit of boro, I think. I'm feeling a little fixated on boro.

I LOVE Pleasant Pollux :)

And I included the story of Castor and Pollux in my grad school prelims paper (step between MA and PhD).

slight clarification:

Here's the story I used that was about Castor and Pollux (I did memory research)

Thank you for the beads Kalera, . They came 2 days ago and I was lost for words. They are wonderful. I had never seen beads from a real Artist close up. I had only seen them on the internet. They are as different as night and day from the mass production beads I am use to seeing around Houston. And by the way all you nice bead ladies in the NG, thank you for putting up with me this past week. I am a little bit of a nut). I am a prankster at heart and I don't spell too well. I have to be a nut, after watching so many people in my life being so serious. I cant live that way. Hehehe, ok once again I will shut up now.

Hey Scott. I have to go to Brenham on Friday or Saturday. What are you doing either day?

Ooooooh! They're all yummy but I LOVE Daybreak. It's so touchable, like a nice beach pebble. Autumn Glow and Juice are very cool, too.

Lalala, I have a new Golden Vessel!

(Now, does anyone still have that site that tells how to wire wrap it?)

That's cool... it's *such* a good story. I hope your professor was suitably impressed. :) Have you receved the Bead Release this quarter? Leda and the swan feature prominently... oh my!

Wow, that is *so* not the story I'd assumed! I was thinking of the more well-known one, where Castor is killed and Pollux begs Jupiter to take him instead, and is rewarded for his love and loyalty to his brother by being granted alternate days of life with Pollux.

There are a zillion good Castor and Pollux stories.

Oh thank you, Scott, thank you so much! I'm glad you like them, and especially glad I was able to make a good first impression for my craft!

Putting up with you is no hardship... I daresay, we may even kind of like you! :D

I'm Beafy and Wide, look out world here I come! ;)

I love my ad. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to say that, because I made it, but I am sooo happy with how it turned out. And the placement! I couldn't have bribed them for better placement, and on top of that, the border color is burgundy! It offsets the green sooo perfectly! I am in hog heaven. I got matching business cards, but everyone will have to wait a little while to see those since I still have the old ones to go through.

You are such a sweet thing!

I thought of you and your boots when I was making "Ozma's Return".

You know what's funny about the name, given the recent spate of "Wicked"-inspired lampwork around here? I didn't name it, Breezy did! I hadn't even known that she'd read "Wicked" too. I think she's somehow tuned into the RCB hive-mind, even though she's not on here.
