AD Some of my Orphans on Ebay

Yes, you're missing something, Kandice. You guys haven't been on the receiving end of the vitriol that she dishes out... and I have. In personal emails from her and her sister to me over an innocent post that I made in this newsgroup awhile back.

And I know a bit more about the type of emails she's sent to another person. Don't turn your back on this one.

I got the impression that she was agreeing with you... about his auction wording being uncaring.

Sorry Kalera and Sooz if that was the intent of the post. I didn't read it that way at all. I read it as admonishing *me* for me thinking his terms were a bit crazy and uncaring

I mean the SELLER. Not you, necessarily. Take a deep breath. ~~ Sooz To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. ~~Joseph Chilton Pearce

You might want to not jump to conclusions. Think twice about starting something over nothing! Sheesh. ~~ Sooz To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. ~~Joseph Chilton Pearce

As a buyer who has not always made appropriate (return) contact in a timely manner, I think this is a legitimate gripe on the part of the seller.

I don't know who she is. So I don't know what history there could be.

But I am bowing out as I leave to work my contract in Glasgow. Won't have much PC time, but I'll check for Rebekah's auctions...waiting to see all the new and fabu.

Am I silly or something? I've made a grand total of 5 purchases on eBay and all 5 times payment was made (via Paypal) moments after I got the email confriming the win.

Yeah, you're right. I didn't know that when I posted, it just seemed so totally out of the blue.

It just seems that you should have the money for the item you want. If not, don't bid on it in the first place. I've seen beads I wanted so badly it hurt but I knew I didn't have the money to spare. I just try to remember that there will be other beads that will arouse that same level of desire in me. :-)

NO you aren't silly. I don't bid on something unless I can pay right away. I think my last purchase from MJ was the next day cause I had to help a friend. But otherwise I wait and pay as soon as I'm invoiced.
