AD & UPDATE: I've missed you all...(Update on me & new beads)

Hey ya'll!

Seems like forever since the last time I posted any new work on here. Some of you may have been wondering what happened and why I seemed to have just disappeared for the past few months. There's been so much going on in my life the past few months that has been kinda overwhelming...but on the bright side things are getting better little by little. I'd rather not go into the details at the moment...I'm just not sure if I'm ready to let the whole world in on the details my personal struggles. Just going to say that after several months of having no desire to set foot in my studio to create, which I now know wasn't due to just creative block but something else much bigger that's been building up for probably most of my life and has affected pretty much every aspect of my life, I'm finally beginning to actually want to return to the studio again. It's a great feeling, but since I no longer have someone to look after my little one so I can work, I'm finding it really difficult to find the time to create much. Hopefully as things continue to get better, I'll figure out how to do that since working after my son goes to bed really isn't an option because I'm totally wiped out by that point.

Anyways, if you're still reading after that long rambling paragraph (LOL!) here's your reward...lots of new beads! I've had some up on Ebay for a week today (ending tonight) and they don't have much in the way of bids...I even featured and highlighted one of them since I've been away for so long...not sure if Ebay has hit a slow week or what. I'd love to hear what you all think of these new beads...especially the ones that are a bit different from my usual style. Trying to decide if its a style shift worth pursuing.

My new Ebay auctions ending tonight:

I've missed you all and hope that I can get back to being a regular poster around here again. Just taking things one step at a time and I'm trying to limit my computer time at the moment so I can get other things done that have piled up around here, but I'll try to make sure that I pop in as much as I can.

xoxoxo, Paulette

Welcome back. Love the new look! I am glad to hear you are feeling like spending time in the studio. Funny how the things that have the potential to help us feel good can seem miles away and impossible to access when things aren't going well, but once we step back into the studio, life does seem to strt getting better. At least that's my experience.

Hi, Paulette, Glad to see you back. Love the "Open Your Heart" new style, sorry I didn't see it in time to bid. Hope you will make more of these!! I'm sorry that things have not been going too well for you. Try to hang in there and trust that things will get better, because they will. I'll put you on my prayer and "positive thought beams" list. SO GLAD to have you back. I completely understand issues that stop you dead, including creatively. Story of my life. It passes (thankfully).

Thank you all so much for all the wonderful comments!!! And thanks also to those sending prayers and positive vibes! I really appreciate it!

Things have been super busy for me lately...not anything to do with beads exactly...just busy around the house and with family. I recently redid my art/craft studio area and made it actually look like an intention studio instead of an afterthought. It looks so great and I'm really looking forward to working in the space...well once I figure out how to allow myself the time. Funny how that works...lately I'm so busy with day to day stuff that I hardly ever make time for the things I love to do. I'll bet there are quite a few of you who struggle with this too or have in the past. I've even taken to writing out a daily schedule for myself to try to fit it in, but it always seems to be the thing that gets put off when I get behind schedule for the day.

Oh and I also redid the glass studio....well started on it anyway. I've now got areas for lampworking, glass cutting, and PMC...now I just gotta get the lampworking bench cleaned and organized. That will be quite an undertaking since I've probably got several months of used glass rods laying on my table top that I just kept adding to as I worked. Clearing that out is always something that takes several hours just on its own.

But I actually did get a few hours on the torch this weekend, so I do have some new beadies (go check out my blog for a sneak peek

). I'm going to try to put 'em up on eBay in the next day or two...but of course that depends on finding that time I was talking about earlier. LOL! Thanks again everyone!!! Ya'll are so awesome!!! Smooches, Paulette
