I'm an ebay newbie (never bought nor sold anything on ebay). But, I'm not new to selling beads nor jewelry. My website keeps me fairly busy as do the local art shows. I decided to take the ebay plunge after much thought and discuss. Plus, we're building a studio and it's time to sell some beads.
My first set sold to a friend of mine from another group. (she didn't know it was me. LOL) My other sets didn't sell. Although, someone inquired about the calypso set. But, that's ok. I made a watch out of six of the beads of the lavender set and I sold it for $110.
I know it will take a while to develop feedback. People are leary about buying from someone without feedback. I understand. But, given time and patience, my customers who buy from me now, (and new customers I hope) will find me on ebay and things will improve. I've gotten lots of feedback from ebay sellers and buyers on how to improve my auctions. So changes are forethcoming.
Again, Tink, thank you so much for posting my auction and for all the suggestions you've given me.
