Business opportunity

I had this brainstorm a year or so ago, that my daughter would sell my designer polymer clay beads on eBay, and she would get to keep whatever money she sold them for. It didn't work out--she is happily too busy with her own life--so now I am looking for someone to help me with this.

Is managing auctions a piece of cake for you? If you are interested in discussing a cooperative arrangement, email me for details, with a link to your eBay Member Profile page.

You can see my beads (actually there are more, but this is a fair sample) at

Did the header make this look like n-g spam? I'm looking for someone to help me sell beads at auction.

A local paper just did a story about a guy who does just this! He takes from 3% to 35% of the selling price as his fee, and he ships everything, too. So what I'm saying is that there are definitely people out there who do this sort of thing. Maybe you can find someone in your area.

[Your message sorta looked "spam-ish", but I think folks can see you're serious. Maybe next time you should put "AD" in the header - - or "OT". (??)

Oh, I can find people locally, but I thought it would be better if I could find someone more knowledgeable about beads. I would write the prose, and take the photos; I just don't have the psychic energy for the rest.

(I think the problem can only be the words in the heading, as this isn't OT--it's about beads, and it's not an ad, as I'm not trying to get anyone here to buy anything from me.)

you are right on all points---it is on topic being about beads, it is NOT an ad since you arent selling, and it does look spammish because of the heading words "business opportunity". Interesting to think how overused that phrase has become so fast, along with the phrases "make money at home" and "mortgage reduced".

Maybe "looking to add bead sales rep" or " I need help with auctions" might be more effective.

Thanks for giving me an opportunity to think about the wording though! SJ
