Hiya! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. I'm exhausted. My DS had his birthday party at a video arcade nearby on Saturday. I spent most of the time playing air hockey (taking all challengers) and Skee Ball, which I've loved since I was a kid (and the games cost a nickel then). It was a cool arcade, they set it for parties so it's unlimited play on everything. It was fun watching DD and her pal playing Dance Revolution. Now I know I was always meant to play in the band for a reason. Woke up this morning and had a major muscle "hangover" from the skee ball. Owwwww.
Once I got home yesterday, I spent the afternoon in ADD bliss trying new stuff on the torch. The results are in my auctions. I'm really REALLY proud of my vessels. I know they're not quite *there* yet but I did it!!!! They're done in the same style as a hollow bead, coils of glass (thanks to Corina's Spotlight on Hollows and Vessels), and they're borosilicate to boot. Way fun, more forthcoming. Also a few more boro beads and some fun with dichro. Thanks for looking and enjoy!!!!
