You need to come to our home if you love antiques. They are everywhere, including china. I love old china, dinnerware, and anything for the kitchen. Then I started buying antiques for the house because they just don't fall apart like new furniture does and it's cheaper. Plus I really love antiques.
Then MIL decided to bequeath a ton more antiques. Now we have beautiful furniture in the garage because I have no place to store it. On her very recent trip she brought up the old chopping block she's had for ages. I always loved it, but could never find one like it. Well now I know why. It's because it's very early American and there aren't that many like this one. I use it though as it's been used for hundreds of years. DH was scared to use it at first until his mother came over and chopped an onion on the thing for him. LOL
Since I can't come there right now, you are always welcome here. You would be staying in a room entirely decorated with antiques including a post civil war rocker.
