I know what you mean... I totally cringed when we looked at the prices. I've been checking on eBay for seasons 3 through 5, but I'm not convinced that most of those aren't bootleg versions. I want the Real Deal.

I was so sniffly and icky yesterday that I didn't feel like torching!!! But I told myself that if I was a good grrl and made some stuff and posted it and sold it that I could buy Season 3 of B5 at Best Buy. LOL! What a motivator! SO COME TO MY SITE TODAY AND BUY BUY BUY TO HELP ME GET SEASON THREEEEEEE!!!! Heheheheh!

So far John has bought the two sets we have. I want to pull my own weight in this addiction... We have SUCH a good time watching together! We lay the futon out flat and have a picnic while we watch!

...and I am thrilled to report that there are just two beads left on my site! Yay! It's a good thing, too, as we ate Chinese food and watched an entire DVD from Season 2!

I'm thinking I need to check out my frit stash so I can make a Narn bead. LOL!

Did you think the season finale of Stargate SG-1 was a little flat? I hope this doesn't mean it was really the finale of the series... Hubby and I liked it better when Jack was a feisty colonel (or whatever his rank was) instead of a befuddled general.

But that Atlantis now... wow what a cliff hanger!

Farscape is coming back! At least for a mini-series.

Anybody here a Firefly fan? We bought the CD, there's a killer episode that didn't air where our dear captain got left in the buff... LOL

Hubby and I have Sci-Fi Friday night bliss around here... if we could just keep the relatives from calling when "our shows" are on!

I love you guys but I can sure tell none of you have ever been on a mailing list about a show, you show no "SPOILER" ettiquite at all :)

I'd better just stop reading this thread!!

;) yeah, actually, I thought of some things to say about it that I knew were beyond 2nd season and just didn't. (And some that I suspected... DH thinks everyone has memorized what happens season by season or episode by episode, which I totally do not. It all blends together for me.)

I taped SG1 and Atl tonight, so haven't seen them.

We loved Firefly. We had a friend that was supposed to get us not only the epi you mentioned from the DVD, but another one that didn't air. Nothing's ever shown up, so I guess we'll add the DVD to our Netflix list.

We bought it at Amazon.com and it wasn't so expensive as I remembered... I think there were about 3 episodes on it that didn't air...

I can't believe they killed Frasier!!!

Was that one of those "you can't guess who we're going to kill off" episodes when it was run on tv?

I now know that Daniel Jackson is back. As soon as ppl hinted he was coming back I more or less guessed how... but I still thought it was pretty crappy, especially the way they just kind of shuffled off Jonus. I mean, what did they say to the actor, sorry, it turned out the guy you replaced was just too popular to show up every 3rd episode so we're bringing him back and you have to go away... we might let you write an episode in which your charector comes back as a hippy once or twice?

Ok... I've got to go back to watching...and...er...beading, yeah, gotta make those birdie necklaces! Actually I am pretty pleased how they are coming out so far. DH made a really nice one with green aventurine and garnets and some glass beads I never figured out what to do with. He always comes up with neat ideas that I wouldn't think of. I have to crimp the ends, though :)
