I was supposed to hear from her too. Could be she's busy packing or has already hit the road. San Francisco, here she comes! :=)

Her phone has been disconnected. Her cell phone is "either turned off, our out of the service area". So perhaps she's nearing the Bay Area......She told me she'd "let [me] know" when she'd be in the B.A., so I was worried since she hadn't done so. It's not unimaginable that something might have happened to her -- women do disappear, especially if they don't have circles of extended family or friends in their area to check in with.
