Buttugly. Yes, it really is.

I'm sure you meant well.

I have to ask, what IS that base color? (so I can hide it somewhere out of harm's way)

Nope.. it has something to it... not ugly.. personality. I actually like it. I wont even try to do a subtle beg on it. :-) Diana

I have to agree. It's not buttugly. It has a certain "je ne sais quois". In the hands of a skillful artist, it could be quite lovely.

It looks like that satellite that just returned from space without its parachutes opening.

OK. I can't stand it anymore. I'm taking it off the sale page and putting it in my experimental auction today. Mention of the auction prompted the addition of AD to the subject line, so I might as well talk about it.

I am pretty much taking today off. I feel a headache coming on, and I know better than to push it by torching. So I took a bunch of beads that I had leftover in the studio and have put them together in a grouping to sell. I'm doing a reverse auction on my site because I think it will be fun and will keep me occupied while I avoid the torch today.

Details on my Latest Works page.

And I'm gonna eat ice cream.

I think I'll avoid the Olive then :)

It sorta looks like a bead that's been in the mud and is waiting to be discovered!

I guess I'm weird but I kinda like it. It would be cool with some black matte spacers and such.

ooh the reverse auction sounds fun!

And apparently I'm having a sympathy headache with you - so unless it goes away no torching for me either.

LOL - yeah, Tink, I have to agree. :D

ROFL - yeah!!!

I think it would have been wonderful without the frit. Sometimes I think frit (especially the smallest stuff - like spray pain) ruins a bead that would otherwise be gorgoues. But it's all about personal preference. :)
