My newsgroup reader isn't working right. But looking at the posts on Google, I'd have to agree with Carla. I looks like it came from some far off mossy galaxy.

If I had it I'd put it with more mossy beads and some of those turquoise faceted rondelles with mossy looking ends. Use gold-filled accents and findings. That hint of pink in it would just provide a little spark to the piece.

Maybe that's why they say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

It's so nice that it's being appreciated, but the sucker makes me shiver. And it now belongs to an RCBer. Bwahahaha! But I'm not gonna out them.

ah, what things the boredom of being in a nearly empty computer lab all day will do to your mind..

I actually like it, I think it has possibilities. Think of it with those colors in some kind of freeform peyote... might be majorly cool.

Ok I know this is a dumb ?, but what is a reverse auction?

Reply to
Karleen/Vibrant Jewels

Not dumb at all! A reverse auction is where the owner of the item or lot sets a price (usually a high one) and periodically lowers the price until someone bids on it. In a nutshell...

So do you actually TELL what your price is, or do we have to guess?

I keep that between me and the buyer out of respect for their privacy :-)

If you mean the starting price.. yes.. that was mentioned, and each time the price dropped it was posted on the web site. Its a war of nerves.. .wait to long to jump on the deal and its gone, bid fast and the price may be higher than you like.. What a fun game to watch tho! Tink, I hope you got enough that you are happy and that your customer is delighted too. Diana

LOL! She seemed delighted! And for myself, the price was high enough that I am making some more pieces just for her to add to the stash.
