IS anyone attending Beads in the East?

Remember when we discussed awhile back that there is a bead thing starts 9 September.....????

There is a SATURDAY night bead show (open to public even if you aren't registered for the event).... I just wondered if this will be a little/med/big show? I've sent a box of goodies -- and have hopes some will sell..... I'd like to know if anyone from this group attends -- so I can get a feel for what the size of the event was -- and whether I should have sent more/less beads.... especially since they are holding the the stock for a whole MONTH.... for a few days of sale...

wish I could afford the event - but $795 is a bit steep for my pocket. Joyce Scott will be there - I met her at Penland ... she's quite interesting.. and boy can she sing jazz..... (I see she is also selling CD's now too... !)

Hey, that just up the road from my house! Thanks for posting this, I woudln't have known about it otherwise. Ah well, I wish I could do the whole thing, but will definately hit that bead show.

I'm not going to Beads in the East. I did go to Joyce Scott's presentation several years ago at a polymer conference held at Bryn Mawr - she is amazing - funny, poignant, quite a personality. I loved her. Patti
