Making Thorium beads

I'm doubt this is a legitimate question considering thorium can be used to create nuclear energy. Since it presents a radiation hazard so I don't think I'll be bidding on the finished project. I think we all have enough health issues to deal with without adding radiation sickness to our list of woes.

Plus, any chance you'd like to give us your uncle's name. I have an uncle who'd be interested. His name is Sam.

Speaking as someone who lives close to TMI (remember that incident?) I can tell you that glowing in the dark does have certain advantages. You never need night lights, you can find your bellybutton in the dark, you never trip over the cat/dog (a popular mutant pet around here) as you head down the steps at night for a glass of water, black lace teddies look very nice against glowing skin..................

No kidding? I used to work in Shiremanstown. I'm down in York - halfway between TMI and Peach Bottom (another smaller nuclear plant). Since you are a beader, do you get anything from The Rolling Bead? She's not too awful far from you although since the shop is in her home, you have to let her know you're coming to see her. :-)

Roxan and JL, I'll wave at you when we fly over next weekend! We'll be in Harrisburg with my Mom for Xmas week. Planning to go right past TMI to hit my favorite winery (Nissley Vineyards) and to see all the pretty decorations in Marietta. I want to take my guy for dinner at the Railroad House.

During TMI I was home from college on break. Crazy days. Glad we're all still here, glowing personalities and everything. ;-)

I just learned there was a bead shop in Lancaster. I had no idea! What kind of things to they carry? Maybe we'll have to get together for a road trip. :-)
