I've been busy making beads. Trying to decide which I should make more of. What is your favorite? Thanks! Nan

I like the KLEW-like ones with the leaflike bead caps.

I like the poinsetta-looking ones in the upper left, and the chartreuse ones below.

Thanks everyone... I show them to my hubby and get comments like "there big"

I get to go sell at a bead show in February and hope to have a nice selection by then. Not at all sure just how many I should try and make. They take a lot longer than you realize!

Ahhh, I love the support we get for our beady addictions. My husband always says, "So, how much did it cost?" [answer: "Bite Me.]

I do hear that he tells people outside the house that I am phenominal, and he's always asking me to make pieces for clients and family members, but heaven knows he doesn't want me getting a swelled head. OTOH, I can't see myself getting worked up over his license plate collection, either.

No idea how many you should make. If you make tons of them, you'll have thin sales, and if you only bring a few, people will be punching each other to get them. Seems that's the way the world works.

And yes, I think a lot of people around here know exactly how long it takes to make beads like that! Welcome.

LOL! Husbands are great for that, aren't they? I can show twenty deeply involved beads to my husband, and he'll get all excited about the one that I over-reduced so that you can't even see the design. "Oooh honey, that one looks like METAL!"

I love the guy!

Kalera, These are gorgeous!! Especially aurora borealis and lions eye. Too bad I spent my Christmas and birthday $$ on something dumb like shoes. LOL. Seriously, it was so great to find TWO pair of shoes I can actually wear - my options are severely limited these days due to still wearing that orthotic device. Boring!! Patti

Shoes are never dumb! I'm glad you found a couple pairs you can wear; having *enjoyable* shoes is very important!

(I have, um, several pairs of shoes. When we were moving, I kept saying "OK, now, I think that's just about all of them" with each box my husband took to the truck, until he just started laughing at me.)
