My office mate and I just got into an "argument" about how the clasps were made. Did you make them? Are they soldered or just wire-wrapped? Would it be possible to see a picture of the back of them?

no, i didn't make them! the back and front are exactly alike. and yes, the joints are soldered. no wire wrapping as i know it. [another reason for me to learn!] i got them from Mary, and i can't remember where she said they came from - - one of her bulk buys.....
