anybody seed bead?

Does anyone here make and sell items with mainly seed beads? I've been making things for a craft sale and am curious as to whether this stuff sells very well. A lot of it is teen stuff mostly daisy chain designs with variations, but I've done a few necklace and earing sets with a combination of seed and bugle beads. Mostly from books by Suzanne McNeil. I also made some eyeglass strings. I'm producing as much as possible for a show Oct 18 and I'm getting nervous about being stuck with a lot of it. Thanks .............Sharon in SW Ontario Canada

I seed bead, among other things, but I don't sell much. I try to be very careful about stringing material, crimps, quality findings, etc. Bead weaving I would rather do for myself, instead of selling something that takes so much time for what you can get for it.

And besides, there are all those import versions of seed-bead amulet bags for $5 each.... (Some through FMG!) Kaytee "Simplexities" on

I do almost exclusively seed bead work (off and on-loom work) and I sell very well at arts & crafts shows that are more high-end art shows.

Do you live near Thunder Bay?

I do seed bead work. Right now I am mostly doing brick stitch earrings. I just completed this one

I need to make one that matches it. On Mon, 13 Oct 2003 12:28:18 -0400, biig rec.crafts.beads :

I have some work. If you go to the yahoo group beadershaven and look under Helen C's work (or anyone else's for that matter) you can see various examples of different work with seed beads. (Now, where's that link?)

that helps you. Later,
