Bead Bugle articles

Here's a page I built with links to some of the articles I've done for Bead Bugle in the last year--these are the "unexpurgated" or original/unedited versions.

Prior to this, I hadn't had time to read your articles. I just took a break and found out what I was missing. The mosaics in "And the Bead Goes On" are incredible. I've bookmarked your page so that I can read the rest of your articles as time allows. Thanks, Sarajane.

thank you Susan! Your post PhD project sounds great---I'd love to be in on the study as one of your question-ees/testees when you get there!!

And you might enjoy "The Anatomy of Sex and Power" by Michael Hutchison---a group of studies about the mind/brain and "passionate pursuits". Lot of it comes down to endorphins and our own little opiate factories inside. Mine are very tuned to color---I can walk down a street of Fallcolor trees and not be hungry for food for hours and hours, just from the colors. (And thats a gender specific thing---many women are able to see more color variation than many men....."Are those berries edible?? Is that meat still good??" was where it started, and we reap the benefits now!)
