I need help with picking what to start me off with beading. I would like to know is their a site that can help me with getting started.

thanks, essence2b

Ha. Ha. Ha! There are so many! What are you interested in beading? I started out googling different stitches to learn them, and then also googling free patterns.

I would suggest you go to your local bead shop, they always have classes and work that you can see and perhaps something will strike your fancy! Marilee

I know there is many product sellers have tips and craft making ideas Try your local Libary for free books to try ! Welcome and good Luck

That is exactly what I did about 4 months ago. Michael's craft store in my city has jewellery classes and I am really enjoying them. The teacher is excellent, the cost is not high and I am thrilled with what she has shown me how to make because it looks way better than I would have imagined I could do.

My daughter is a graphic artist and also has a talent for making jewellery and she *nicked* a few pieces I made the last time she was here. So I must be doing something right, LOL!!

I am still tentative about what I do because I don't have the innate creativity that I see on here with the lampwork ladies. I quite enjoy your websites, btw.
