Actually, those are good prices.

When you buy, turn the stamp over and look at the rubber. That's what you look at -- not the wood mount. (The wood mount is waayyy less important.) Make sure there are no flaws in the rubber die, and that it's closely-trimmed, otherwise you'll end up with shadow impressions around the outside of the image. (Although you can trim the die yourself once you get home.....just don't undercut the die, or you'll get wobble.) ~~ Sooz To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. ~~Joseph Chilton Pearce

Thanks muchly :) You'll notice, of course, you can't see what the other side looks like .

But now, I've been wondering about doing other flowers. I'm not really "into" flowers, but I think it would be fun to do, say, tulips; or a bird of paradise, maybe.

Yeah, I didn't think of them as "over-priced", just pricey. And since there were so many to choose from and I only had a little piece of money , I ended up not getting anything.

Yeah, they looked to be very well made. I noticed in the set I got, some of the cuts aren't very deep/precise at all and wouldn't work well with clay, I think.

Buy unmounted stamps, online. Clay works better if you roll it over an unmounted stamp, instead of pressing a stamp into the clay, anyway. :-) ~~ Sooz To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. ~~Joseph Chilton Pearce
