Bracelet Exchange

have you ever read my posts, especially lately, about how many chainmaille links i cut and use in a year??!!! (shaking you gently about the shoulders).

I adore chain maille (notice, I will be using each spelling variation in this post LOL) and do combine it on occasion with someone's gorgeous lampwork or clay or other sterling/copper beads.

Were I to join the swap, the bulk of my piece would be chain with decorative elements.

I can't imagine anyone not being thrilled to get another artist's work...my opinion only.

Getting a "chain maille" bracelet would be extremely cool!!

I so agree. Even if I didn't actually wear it (maybe it's uncomfortable -- or matches none of my clothes), I would hang it up and admire it daily. ~~ Sooz

chain maille is fascinating. The last art faire I did, I was next to a gentleman that did exquisite chain maille, and by the end of the weekend, I'd definitely spent any profit I'd made.

I am in awe of someone that can exert that kind of patience. For me it falls into the same catagory as peyote, and crocheting, and weaving.... I do NOT have the temprement to do those things. Like my

Actually, what attracted me to the idea of this bracelet exchange was to get a piece of jewelry that is different from my own. I like what I do, and I wear a lot of it (which is funny, as I NEVER wore jewelry up until I started making it 2 years ago!) But I am always in awe of what other folks can do. I am horrid at shows. I've trained (see bribed) my son to watch the booth and tell people about the jewelry while I go arround and see everybody else's stuff! That is the best part of the day!

Remember, you are never impressed with what you can do, you are impressed by that which you cannot do.
