Bracelet Exchange

I have some wonderful plastic blossoms, that I've never found in glass. They had some similarly styled plastic flowers at BABE. I wouldn't mind costume jewelry with those beads in profusion. That same sort of thing in glass would hang heavily. Two different looks.

You know what, Starlia...It might be wiser to let KDK/Kathy put them on her webshots site. I just realized that my hysterectomy is 28 days and a wake up...so not sure i'd have time to put up the photos. Boy am I dense...LOL. Time is really flying now. I do have time to get a bracelet made, however....will be working on it this weekend, even. So...you choose what you think would work best. I will do it still if you want, and even teach DH how to upload things, if that's what it takes. He's good at that sort of thing.

Definitely rest for Jalynne!!

Webshots is free and easy. And I have several accounts :)

Heck maybe it will even get me off my butt and get my real webpage going!

I've seen similar one's. They don't *look* plastic either and are quite nice. I've been wanting to buy some...and make some kind of garden bracelet. But I just haven't had the time lately. :-(

Is the exchange a private party, or can anyone play? It sounds like fun!

Anyone can play.

Agreed. I am in awe of polyclay, metal work, and anything woven or seed-beaded.

I *love* this line! It reminds me of my friend, Teri... she's an amazing graphic designer who can casually whip out the most professional-looking design elements you've ever seen, on scratch paper, while chatting. I asked her why she wasn't promoting her design skills, and she dismissed it, saying, "Pshaw, that? That's easy, who would pay for that?"

I was agog, but when I recovered myself I said "Sure it's easy for YOU, because it's your GIFT. Not everyone HAS that gift!" We all tend to take our gifts for granted, and may even tell others that "it's easy, anyone can do it", not realizing that something that comes naturally for us may well be a talent that not everyone has.
