Is everyone too busy to bead? Well, I've got a bracelet to show. I think this was in issue of Step by Step Beads. It was called Bumps in the Road:
I haven't been on the torch in the past several months, mostly because of my
13 yr. old, who's been ill. This has been going on for a couple of years, but got worse this year. Thankfully, we have a good doctor, and she'll be ok eventually, but my beads are pretty much on hold for a while.I am enjoying some seed beading, and made myself laugh when I looked at the subject line and thought about how my life has been lately.
Also, my hubby made me a loom, which I love, and today he's making the kiddo her own loom, too. I've only done one little project with it, and haven't finished, but it sure is fun. I'll share pictures when I get some.
Keeping us laughing is our crazy little dog, Caesar. We took him through a Dog Obedience course, and he got the Most Improved Terrorist award. He really is a pretty friendly little dog to both people and dogs, but he has to have about 30 seconds to try to convince everyone that he weighs 80 lbs instead of 8. He gets along well with Spike, Romeo, and our 85 lb foster dog.
When were were babysitting my neighbors' dogs, the big lab was shedding, so we made Caeasr a toupee. I couln't help coming up with some funny pictures:
(And you know Halloween pictures are coming soon!)
