There is a specialty store here in Austin that has very expensive hand dyed fabric and other to die for fabric. In addition they have the most fabulous buttons I've ever seen. Some of the ones I've purchased were in the $10 each range. Pretty buttons are well worth it, IMO.

I really do hate to tempt you, Marisa, but...

I have three styles of shank buttons listed now in the TierraCast section. In antiqued silver and antiqued gold. Just thought you'd like to know... =:o)

Yes, "they" do-- carved paua flowers, paua and MOP mosaic disks, triangles with a black "slash" accross them. All with two holes. (Thase are the ones at the shop where I work). Kaytee "Simplexities" on

another of my favorite button things to do is make molds with them, then make beads from the molds using polymer clay. There's an article about it in the current Belle Armoire magazine. Sarajane

Thanks - I used enamel to highlight the peach and the plum both.

They are fun - I think I'm going to go on a button making spree... LOL
